Sports

At DEWEY, beyond the standard framework of the educational curriculum, children are encouraged and given endless opportunities to learn new skills and stir up new passions. They are presented with a full basket of disciplines varying from Team sports (Football, Basketball, Volleyball, etc.) to Individual and/or dual sport (Taekwondo, Nanbudo, Table Tennis, etc.) and Arts and culture based clubs (Journalism, Music, Dance, Drama, etc.) all headed by experts in their various domains. Extracurricular activities contribute significantly to a child’s physical, mental and social development. Other skills like teamwork, leadership, hand-eye coordination, perseverance, problem-solving, memory, creativity, and critical thinking and communication skills are also developed.  These are needed and used during core academic subjects thus boosting performance.
